Influences on my work
My work as a Social and Behavioural Scientist, Public Health Researcher and Development Practitioner is informed by my creative practices and interests. I am intermittantly active on the Scottish scene as a degree-trained singer and composer/songwriter and folk, jazz and classical flautist/Celtic whistle player.

My other intersts are creative comedy performance, collaging, Scottish and Nordic knitting traditions, photography, assisting artistic champions of human rights, and also my dyslexia thinking. This includes a big imagination which enables me to see possibilities and come up with project visions, out-of-the-box and ‘big picture/systems/global overview’ thinking, multisectoral and multidisciplinary thinking, leadership and team management skills and high level of emotional intelligence.

This gallery shows my performances in bands and as a solo singer and comedian.
